Meagan & Ryan’s Sunday Night Wedding – The Riverview – Simsbury CT
Sunday night wedding? Sometimes they can be a drag when guests leave early. Not the case with Meagan & Ryan’s wedding at The Riverview in Simsbury CT.
Although the ceremony started a bit late (someone was still getting dressed!), we were able to make up the time during dinner by spacing out toasts and cutting cake between courses. We even had guests up and dancing before the entree hit the table.
We provided microphones for their outdoor wedding ceremony. We also provided the up-lighting in amber inside and amber wash lights for the tree line outside the back of the Riverview (during the rain). Their name in lights were projected on the airwall and we ended up with a crankin’ dance floor all the way until midnight.
Lots of surprises at this wedding. When guests arrived for the ceremony – they had to choose – RED SOX or NY YANKEES side of the aisle. Meagan changed into a short dress and she and Ryan did a mash-up for their first dance ending in a Swing number. At the end of dinner, Meagan surprised Ryan and sang a song for him. Meagan recorded a special message to her dad and we mixed it into her song (hear it at the beginning of our timelapse video below). Ryan and his mom danced while two of his friends sang their song.
