Ista + Dan – Thursday Night Albanian Wedding DJ – Aria Prospect CT
Ista & Dan had their wedding on a Thursday night (day after 4th of July) at Aria in Prospect CT. (There was another wedding going on in the other ballroom that night as well!) When we first met to talk about their wedding, they wanted a mix of Albanian and American music to satisfy the two families. The week before the wedding – Ista tells me they want more like 90% Albanian music for dancing.
With the list of Albanian music that they provided and the music research that I did in preparation – NO PROBLEM. We had tons of Albanian music (both new and old) to choose from to keep everyone dancing. Things got off to a slow start when their onsite ceremony was delayed for almost an hour (somebody forgot something back at the hotel!). We kept guests in the shade while we waited for the word when everyone was ready and the ceremony was about to start.
We had guests up and dancing between courses to give them more than enough dance time. I believe other than 2 or 3 songs, all the dancing was Albanian music. When 11:30 rolled around, the floor was still packed and everyone wanted more!
