Dominique and Peter’s New Years Eve Wedding at The Society Room in Hartford CT
Dominique and Peter wanted to get married on New Years Eve. What better place to do it than downtown Hartford at The Society Room? They held both the ceremony and reception there. We provided music and microphones for the ceremony, our up-lighting, DJ and photo booth for their celebration.
Dominique works at Yale and Peter at Pratt & Whitney. They met through mutual friends & wanted their wedding to be FUN & MEMORABLE. They were not into the line dances or cheesy dj antics that they had seen at friend’s weddings. They wanted it to be uniquely their own style.
They had a New Year’s Eve countdown with noisemakers and hats, Peter’s Frat brothers sang a song to Dominique to start of dancing, Ricky Martin was mentioned more than once that night, and there was a big sparkler send off outside at the end. Did I forget to mention the lifesize cardboard cut-out of their dog or the special beer in the champagne chiller?
