Jessica & Jason’s Wedding Reception at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills in Middletown CT

Jessica & Jason lucked out with the weather.  Hurricane Irene did not make it to the area until well after their wedding was complete.  The Barns at Wesleyan Hills was decorated in white string lighting throughout (sometimes that amount of string lighting can actually be TOO MUCH as the room never get really dark enough for my likes when it comes to dance time).

Jessica & Jason took the DIY approach to their wedding decorations.  There were homemade preserves as wedding favors (Yum) and little butterflies and they even made their own backdrop to be used as their "photo booth".  They brought masks and props for their guests to dress in as they took each other's photos  (they did not print out like a typical photo booth rental from us).  It was quaint and guests loved it!
