Meg & Skip’s Wedding Reception – The Society Room of Hartford CT – DJ and Lighting
Meg & Skip are from the RI area, but found the Society Room of Hartford and fell in love with the space. They quickly realized that they wanted to do up-lighting in this space and the room was just a-glow with our amber lighting. Take a close look at Meg's dress - it was just stunning! It was probably the most amazing wedding dress that I've seen in my 20+ years doing this.
They were heavily involved with their music selection for their reception - NO GUEST REQUESTS were allowed. From Dire Straits to Bob Marley to Death Cab For Cutie and Floggy Molly - it was a very unique night.

Laura & Sean’s Wedding Reception at St. Clement’s Castle in Portland CT
Laura & Sean took a DIY approach to their wedding and ceremony. Laura's brother was their officiate for the 5 minute ceremony in the sunken garden. All of their kids were actively involved in the celebration as well. It took on a family feel to the event.
Cocktails were in the tavern and then guests came into the ballroom to watch Laura & Sean enter for their first dance. I do however highly suggest that the tavern bar be closed after social hour and moved to the lobby area just outside the room. It is tough when guests are so removed from the party.

Denise & Sven’s Wedding Reception at The Garden House in Look Park in Northampton MA
Denise & Sven had both their ceremony and reception at The Garden House at Look Park in Northampton MA. This small intimate event had just 50 guests. The above video clip is THEIR LAST SONG. They had a BLAST at their reception.
Sven and his family were from Germany. They incorporated some German traditions such as cutting out a heart from a sheet at the end of their ceremony and stepping through it and Sven's cousin had this funny skit that she did to kick off the party after dinner that involved Sven and Denise, their parents and part of the bridal party.

Northampton Country Club – Melissa & Michael
Melissa & Michael had a beautiful & intimate wedding reception at the Northampton Country Club. Their "Something Blue" theme was shown with their table decor and the uplighting that we provided throughout the room. We worked with one of our favorite caterers, Seth Mias. The food was amazing!

Oakridge Country Club – Leah & Marc
Congratulations to Leah & Marc. What a fun group. Everyone was up and dancing right after salads were served. Only glitch in their plans was that their wedding cake was damaged during transit. The cake you see is a fake - styrofoam. I got to see one of my couples, Lyza & Sean (thanks for the referral). They've been married for about a year and a half now.
