Meg & Skip’s Wedding Reception – The Society Room of Hartford CT – DJ and Lighting
Meg & Skip are from the RI area, but found the Society Room of Hartford and fell in love with the space. They quickly realized that they wanted to do up-lighting in this space and the room was just a-glow with our amber lighting. Take a close look at Meg's dress - it was just stunning! It was probably the most amazing wedding dress that I've seen in my 20+ years doing this.
They were heavily involved with their music selection for their reception - NO GUEST REQUESTS were allowed. From Dire Straits to Bob Marley to Death Cab For Cutie and Floggy Molly - it was a very unique night.

The Yankee Pedlar Inn – Holyoke MA – Wedding Up-lighting
I just did a site inspect at The Yankee Pedlar Inn located in Holyoke, MA this weekend. One of our clients is going to be uplighting the facility in BLUE for her upcoming wedding. Revisiting The 80s – House Party
Back in the late 80's, I used to frequent a dance club in Northampton called Pearl Street. I was contacted by one of the people that I befrended back in my clubbing days. A surprise birthday party was in order for our mutual friend, Cindy. We recreated the club with lighting and era music in her house. She was totally surprised when she walked into her house to find 40 guests there. It was a fun night - I played music that I haven't heard in a very long time. It's nice to visit the 80's every once in a while, but I wouldn't want to live there (my friend Todd still does, I believe).

Springfield Country Club
What a fun wedding this weekend. Very relaxed for social hour with our Acoustic Dave. Dave had people dancing and signing along to his music on the deck. I was inside for dinner and dancing. The party went on for 7 hours!
We did some of our custom lighting for this event. Wash LED lights for fireplace and ceiling. Projected starts up on the ceiling.
