The day after Mike met Sandy he made a phone call to his best friend. He just had to tell him about the girl he had met at a bar in South Norwalk. She was tall, blonde and gorgeous, but more than even more than that, she was different. She was the kind of girl that he really wanted to impress, to sweep her off her feet from the very first date. The kind of girl that made him call his friend just to talk about her. That didn't happen every day.
The day of their wedding, Sandy had a special letter delivered to Mike's room. It wasn't just any letter, it was written on a card that she had custom-designed and filled with words that could only begin to express how she felt that day. It was the simplest way for her to let him know just how lucky she felt to become her wife. Because, just as he had known so many years before, Sandy knew Mike was different. She knew that they were different. And that this day would be unlike any one she had ever lived before.
On that day they stood in front of all of their friends and family and reminded them just how visible love can be between two people, especially when they are so perfectly suited for one another. And that's not something that happens every day. (READ MORE)
Alicia & Brian’s Wedding at The Log Cabin in Holyoke MA
Alicia & Brian chose 11-11-11 for their wedding date. No freak snow storms. In fact, it was quite a mild November night. With their names projected on the dance floor for their first dance, the room looked amazing. Their guests really enjoyed their custom love story introduction where I told the story of how they met, fell in love and ended up with plans to go to Bike Week in Daytona for their honeymoon.
Once dancing started, guests got up and really partied it up. We moved their name in lights to the wall later in the evening to give them a great background for their photos.

The Cranwell Resort in Lenox MA – Lenox Wedding Tour
The Cranwell Resort in Lenox MA was home to a gathering of about 70 wedding planners and some 30+ wedding vendors for a networking event of the likes that I've never seen before. Thanks to Lisa Light of Destination Bride and Kat from Classical Tent for putting this who thing on. Wedding planners were brought in from all over the area to showcase the unique venues that the Berkshires had to offer. They toured a couple dozen facilities during this 3 day event. They were treated to Spa treatments, wined, dined and spent lots of time meeting local wedding vendors to learn what we had to offer them and their clients.
We were given the opportunity to light the Garden Room at The Cranwell Resort so we up-lit the room in Amber and Pin Spot the centerpieces on each table.

Once upon a time, we had travel agents. Travel agents were friendly people who would book our travel and make sure everything went smoothly. They would even give us an itinerary, showing us where to go and when. Back then, the airlines remembered that passengers were human beings, treated us nicely, and didn't nickel-and-dime us when it came to pillows, or leg room, or snacks. On the other hand, we didn't have the TSA, which now offers a few lucky winners a free body massage before they get on the plane.
Chanthy & Jeff’s Wedding Reception at The Log Cabin in Holyoke MA
Chanthy and Jeff had their wedding reception at The Log Cabin in Holyoke MA this past Nov weekend. It was cold, but thankfully the power was back on for just about everyone at this point. Our friend, Tara from Heavely Elegance (Harp Music for your Wedding) was there to play for the social hour. We took an audio feed from her harp and ran it through our system.
We mixed in some Cambodian music for Chanthy's friends and relatives. The dance floor was packed the entire night.

Nicole and David – Wedding Reception at The Farmington Club in Farmington CT
Nicole and David were upgraded to the larger room at The Farmington Club with their 130 person wedding reception. That gave them lots of room for tables and their station meal format wedding. We DJ'd David's brother's wedding just a year or so back at The Aqua Turf. There were many familiar faces there that night.
