Laura & Sean’s Wedding Reception at St. Clement’s Castle in Portland CT

Laura & Sean took a DIY approach to their wedding and ceremony.  Laura's brother was their officiate for the 5 minute ceremony in the sunken garden.  All of their kids were actively involved in the celebration as well.  It took on a family feel to the event.

Cocktails were in the tavern and then guests came into the ballroom to watch Laura & Sean enter for their first dance.   I do however highly suggest that the tavern bar be closed after social hour and moved to the lobby area just outside the room.   It is tough when guests are so removed from the party.
