Jessica & Jason’s Wedding Reception at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills in Middletown CT
Jessica & Jason lucked out with the weather. Hurricane Irene did not make it to the area until well after their wedding was complete. The Barns at Wesleyan Hills was decorated in white string lighting throughout (sometimes that amount of string lighting can actually be TOO MUCH as the room never get really dark enough for my likes when it comes to dance time).
Jessica & Jason took the DIY approach to their wedding decorations. There were homemade preserves as wedding favors (Yum) and little butterflies and they even made their own backdrop to be used as their "photo booth". They brought masks and props for their guests to dress in as they took each other's photos (they did not print out like a typical photo booth rental from us). It was quaint and guests loved it!

Linda & Craig’s Wedding at The Cranwell Resort in Lenox MA
Linda & Craig has to make alternative plans as Irene and the rain foiled their outdoor ceremony plans, but the ballroom was magnificent as the backdrop for their Jewish ceremony. Their Rabbi put together such a wonderful ceremony for them.
After the ceremony, guests relocated to the lobby for social hour with their harpist. The ballroom was converted for dinner and dancing. Check out the panoramic photos we stitched together for both ceremony (lit in Amber) and dancing (lit in Lavender).

Electrical Distro Box – Electrical Distribution Box Rental
Thinking about having a wedding under tent? Have you thought about your electrical power needs? One of our recent weddings under tent, we provided what they call an "Electrical Distro Box". This electrical distribution box accepts a 220v input line from the house and then outputs multiple circuits to help run your cater, entertainment and lighting.
Do not forget about your power needs. Running 300' of extension cords is not going to cut it when the cater tries to brew coffee or the lights for the tent go on.
Madison Beach Hotel – The Wharf in Madison CT – Wedding Reception Site
The Madison Beach Hotel was LEVELED and from the ashes arose an amazing new facility. We just toured the place this week as they were putting the final touches on the new building. It is amazing. You have to see the view from the new ballroom on the 2nd floor. (Direct access from the parking lot via elevator!)
Get married on the beach. Have cocktails out on the deck. Dance the night away as you watch the sunset. So cool.
Nicole & Rachel’s Wedding at Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville CT
Rachel & Nicole had a very personalized exchange of vows (including a cow bell for each guest to chime when the ceremony was complete) in Aqua Turf's chapel before moving the the Wagon Room for their reception.
This was a Sunday Wedding - so I'm always concerned about getting people up and dancing. Their guests responded well and the dance floor was active all the way until the end.
Nicole's dad taught us "The John" - a dance he made up to go along with "Who Let The Dogs Out" and Rachel's mom lead us doing The Chicken Dance.

Karry & Dave – Tekoa Country Club in Westfield MA Wedding Reception
Karry & Dave went all out for their wedding reception at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield. We provided both DJ and Event Lighting (up-lighting around perimeter, texture lighting on ceiling, name in lights on dance floor, pinspot on wedding cake).
There was also a photo booth set up right next to us- there was a line to get in the entire night!
