Nika & Jamar – New Haven Lawn Club in New Haven, CT

We provided uplighting for Nika & Jamar's "Surprise Wedding" at the New Haven Lawn Club in New Haven, CT.  Yes, I said surprise wedding.   Only a handful of people knew that it was a wedding.  Everyone else thought it was an engagement party.  One couple came in late and couldn't figure out why Nika was wearing a wedding gown.  Others ran back to their car to check the invitation to see if they misread it.    It was a great time had by all.  Here are some photos that I took.    We worked with one of our favorite photographers, Carla Teneyck (these are not her photos - I am just an amateur).  Candice from Jubilee Events handled the event planning aspect of this wedding.
