Marina & Bob – Northampton Center For The Arts
Marina & Bob were married at the Northampton Center For The Arts in Northampton, MA. The Jewish ceremony started with Marina walking in with her parents as guests held red candles to light her way to the ceremony. Rabbi Steven Mason performed a moving ceremony. (We have worked with him many times in the past - he is great)
There were a series of toasts and shot glasses and bottles of vodka were placed on every table. Marina's mom put together a beautiful slide show as part of her toast and we provided the projector and screen so everyone could enjoy it.
Marina & Bob wanted everyone up and dancing throughout dinner and that is exactly what we did.

Back To The 80′s – Enfield High’s Class 1989 20th Reunion
Yes, it was back to the 80's for Enfield High School's 20th Reunion (Class 1989) at the Enfield Crowne Plaza. Simple and low-key is the way the 2 person committee designed this reunion. No fancy decorations. No sit down meal. There were some simple food at one station if people got hungry. We kept the music down low for the first couple hours so everyone could catch up and talk.
Once the talking started to subsite, the lights went down and the party started. This small group of 78 people knew how to have a great time. The dance floor was full just about the entire night.
We ended it off with American Pie by Don McClean and a big circle of classmates as they sang along.

Weddings – Pinspot On Every Table Centerpiece
Do you want another great wedding lighting idea? Have you considered pinspot lighting your table centerpiece? Imagine as people enter the room and every table is lit up with a simple spotlight. We have both white pinspots and our LED color changing pinspots (we can turn them virtually any color that you wish and we can change colors as your event unfolds). This is a great combination with our LED uplighting as now we can alter the lighting on each table and the walls of the venue.
MassMutual Center Bridal Show
We were just at the MassMutual Center in Springfield for their bridal show this past weekend at the DJ Network booth. Check out our booth photo. We hope you had the opportunity to swing by the booth and have your photo taken in our photobooth. There were other photobooths there, but the quality of the presentation and the quality of the photo delivered was like night and day. There is a reason why our photobooths are so well liked. We currently have 2 booths and the 3rd one will be on the road by this spring due to high demand.

Bridal Shows In November
In November, we have a series of great bridal shows across New England that we will be at. This Sunday, I have some of our DJs in Braintree (DJ Network Booth) and I will be personally at the MassMutual Center in Springfield (DJ Network Booth and the main stage sound & lighting). If you can not make either of these locations, at the end of the month we will be in RI at the Crowne Plaza on the 29th. Come see us in the DJ Network booth at each of these shows.
What is the DJ Network? It is a group of 3 DJ companies in the area that we combine forces with when doing most of our bridal show marketing. The DJ Network is also a great backup emergency source in case any of us need it. (Sickness, accident, family emergency). What does that mean to you? Peace of mind that no matter what, your wedding will go off without a hitch. Hope to see you at one of the upcoming shows.

Midnight Madness – College Basketball Kickoff Event
Curry College was the location of our latest lighting event. We spotlighted the players as they were introduced into the gym. Roving purple lights circled around the gym as everyone cheered for their team. There were 8 minute scrimages, a presentation by the cheer squad and dance troop. We even had a special performance from STATUS QUO - from America's Best Dance Crew.
CeCe & Nick’s Wedding – The Riverview, Simsbury CT
CeCe & Nick had their ceremony inside (it was 70 degrees outside in November!) and their reception immediately followed. They were a fun group and I don't thing I've ever met a more happy bride. I don't think CeCe ever stopped smiling. The Riverview staff were great to work with as always. What a beautiful facility!
Entrance Song: Dancing In The Moonlight - Toploaders
First Dance: The Very Thought Of You - Nat King Cole
Cake Cutting: That's Amore - Dean Martin
Last Dance: Last Dance - Donna Summer
New Britain Museum of Art – Fanchon & Larry
The New Britain Museum of Art was the setting for our latest wedding lighting event. (We were not contracted for DJing - just lighting).
It was a beautiful room to light. Each table had it's own pinspot. Walls and ceilings were washed with colors of their choice. Originally, there was going to be pipe and drape in the dining area to soften the dark walls, but there was a last minute change of heart.
